Kristen Miyeko Bales

Mom, wife, photographer and former Adobe marketing manager. A west coast soul who was raised in Seattle, studied in Los Angeles, worked in San Francisco, strolled the streets of Portland and made it all the way back up to Kirkland, WA.

She has photographed Biola University President Dr. Barry Corey, Olympian Amy Atkinson, and CrossFit Games Athletes (Bri Gaipa, Jacqueline Jane’t, and Monique Londerée).

In 2018, Kristen led professional development trainings utilizing human-centered design with 23 teachers to equip their 800+ students in Kayamandi, South Africa.

In 2016, Kristen originated and completed her ‘Letters of Remembrance’ project, mailing one hand-written letter each week to someone who had impacted her life.
